Well, it is certainly worth $8

Adding Single Sign-On functionality to an existing EBS instance is not for the faint of heart. There are well written notes produced by Oracle, but they tend to be very general and don't cover any of the specifics for installing the complex fusion middleware stack and certainly do not offer tutorials on any of the basics. If you are doing an implementation like this for the first time, this book is worth $8, but this is not a high quality text. This is mostly a collection of screenshots and scribblenotes for a very old implementation that were printed as a PDF and then made harder to access via the Amazon DRM process. If you have nothing else to go by, it is certainly a comfort to at least glance over at another consultant's notes to see what one implementation looked like when it went well. Fortunately, Oracle is working to streamline some of the accident prone tedium with scripting tools.
Keep in mind that the current EBS 12.1 version is 12.1.3 and EBS 12.2 is already generally available. The Access Manager and OID components have also changed over the past two years. This is certainly no O'Reilly book, but then again there is no O'Reilly book that fills in this niche like this PDF book does.
